Josh Wilson, BPA-CRJS, is the owner and driving force behind Vantage Mitigation Strategies Inc., an Ontario-based professional services firm specializing in practical and proportionate workplace risk mitigation. His leadership is grounded in over 25 years' experience, including 17 years of progressive executive roles within Canada’s largest municipal police service, providing Vantage with a unique and powerful operational foundation.
In roles ranging from instructor and training coordinator to operational supervisor, hiring manager, and head of special constable training, Josh has dedicated his career to creating and sustaining rigorous, defensible decision‑making frameworks, processes, and training programs for high‑risk environments and critical public infrastructure.
He is an expert in change management, process architecture, policy drafting, and curriculum development, ensuring organizational compliance with complex legislative, case law, and community expectations. Josh is an accomplished public speaker, having spoken at global law enforcement conferences that focus on human rights and inclusivity. His extensive background is the core credential of Vantage, allowing the firm to deliver solutions that are not merely "security" but sophisticated mitigation strategies.

Josh holds a Bachelor of Professional Arts in Criminal Justice (Distinction), a Diploma in Police Foundations, and several professional certifications, including Teaching Effectiveness, Incident Management System 100 & 200, and Occupational Health & Safety for Supervisors.
